Enclave Portal
Almost all of the Thayan Enclaves have a two-way portal linking them to Eltabbar. Some enclaves have additional portals leading elsewhere, whether openly or in secret.
The portals are housed in The Hall of Ways, in the The Foreign Canton, a very secure compound inside the walls of the city. The compound is constructed so that it can be sealed in either or both directions, both at the level of the compound and at each individual portal. At the word of the The Tharchioness, the entire compound can be sealed off from the city, and deadly magical traps within it activated to eliminate anyone inside.
